  • Integration: Businesses integrate Flutterwave’s payment SDKs/APIs into their websites, mobile apps, or other platforms. This allows them to accept payments from various sources, including cards, bank accounts, mobile money, and more.
  • Payment Request: When a customer wants to make a payment, the business generates a payment request using the Flutterwave API. The request includes details such as the amount, currency, and customer information.
  • Payment Collection: Once the payment request is generated, Flutterwave provides various payment options to the customer, such as debit/credit card payment, bank transfer, mobile money, or QR code. The customer selects their preferred payment method and proceeds with the transaction.
  • Payment Processing: Flutterwave securely processes the payment transaction in real time. It verifies the customer’s payment details, ensures funds availability, and handles the necessary communication between the customer’s bank/payment provider and the business.
  • Funds Settlement: After the payment is successfully processed, Flutterwave settles the funds into the business’s designated bank account. Depending on the business’s preferences, settlements can be done periodically (daily, weekly, etc.) or on demand.
