First Section (Important Information)

- Commencement of 2024 JAMB UTME Registration
- 15th January 2024. Deadline for the 2024 UTME Registration
- 26th February, 2024. Sale of 2024 Direct Entry (DE) application forms
- Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Deadline for the 2024 DE application
- Thursday, March 28, 2024. 2024 UTME Mock Examination Date
- 7th March 2024. Printing of 2024 UTME Examination Slips
- 10th April, 2024. 2024 UTME Examination Date: Friday 19th April to Monday 29th April, 2024.
Now, to registration! When registering for your JAMB, you must know that the form is designed to be in sections for easy readability and navigation.
Profile Code
Your JAMB Profile code is a 10-digit number issued to you after you have created a profile with JAMB.. If you haven’t gotten yours, send NIN to 55019 and wait for their response.
PIN
This space requires that you provide your JAMB E-pin. Note that you can only get this when you have gotten your profile code.

Names
You are expected to write your SURNAME, First name, and Middle name. Also, you want to be sure that the names are spelled correctly.
Date of Birth
You can only write it in this form – Day, Month, and Year.
Sex
Specify whether you are male or female.
Marital Status
If single, leave the marital status section blank. If married, indicate accordingly.
Maiden Name and Previous Name are not applicable for singles.
GSM
Enter the phone number used for your Profile Code.
Nationality
For Nigerians, indicate “Nigerian” for others, mention your country.
State of Origin / LGA
Nigerian citizens should provide their state and local government area of origin.
NIN Update
Mark “YES” if you’ve made corrections to your NIMC Biodata after your last registration; otherwise, mark “NO.”
Section B
Disability
Indicate any disabilities or challenges, or mark NONE if applicable.
Email Address
Provide your accurate email address, as changes may not be possible after JAMB registration.
Contact Address
Enter your current home address.
Preferred State of Exam
Choose the state where you wish to take the JAMB Exam.
Exam Town
Specify the exact location within the chosen state where you want to write the exam.
JAMB Mock Exam
If interested in the mock, select YES; otherwise, choose NO. The mock is optional, and its results won’t affect your main exam.
Section C
Indicate your preferred institutions and courses for study in this section. Your first choice can be any university, whether federal, state, or private, and you also have the option to select a polytechnic as your primary preference. For your second choice, you can opt for a university, polytechnic, or college of education.
Section D
Specify the subjects you intend to take in the JAMB exam. Ensure that you carefully select the appropriate JAMB subject combination, as incorrect choices may affect your admission chances. It is also important to stick to the correct UTME subjects to avoid any potential issues.
Section E
In this section, provide your WAEC/NECO details. If you took the GCE, choose PRIVATE in the SCHOOL/PRIVATE column. If you used WAEC, select SCHOOL. If you haven’t seen your WAEC result, list the subjects you wrote, and in the grade column, use AR to indicate awaiting results.
