Some will wonder if a mechanic work is for females but some Nigerian women are defying the odds. There are female mechanics in Nigeria and they are doing a wonderful jobs fixing cars, making a living and earning great pay from their daily job.
Some are now even employing other people for work for them and they are paying top salary. In a country like Nigeria, where the unemployment rate is very high. A job is a job, and a job like fixing cars is even very lucrative because there is such a high demand due to severe damages that the bad roads in Lagos and other part of Nigeria can do to a car.
Bad roads means damaged car, this also meansan increase in need for car parts sales person, part runners who buy parts and transport it to mechanic shops etc. In the midst of all of these, there is also a huge demand for car mechanics and our women are in the mix to get the market share.
