Providus Bank Launches New Products for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

Providus Bank Limited Says that SMEs can now have access to dual-purpose cards as business owners. 

Recently, Providus Bank Limited launched a Mastercard that serves as a payment solution for business customers who want smooth payment and collection transactions. 

The Managing director of the bank, Mr.Walter Akpani reportedly highlighted the bank’s dedication to the innovation during the launch of the new Amphi card. He also thanked Mastercard for accepting to collaborate on the project, mentioning that they have plans to lead in innovative methods, and this cannot be achieved independently.

Akpani said that the card is one of the current projects for establishing innovation in the organization. “The frontier of innovation never stops; we just have to continue to nudge our intellectual abilities to do new things. At the end of it all, it is the customers that benefit from this push of innovation,” he said. 

Providus Bank affirmed its commitment to keeping its customers a priority by addressing their needs directly and offering customized solutions to support business expansion.

Just in case SMEs have been wondering how this development would help their business, Mr Kingsley Aigbokhaevbo, the Deputy Managing Director, commented that the new product would notably cut costs for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), portraying it as an excellent solution. 

According to the Vice President of Custom Service Solutions East Africa and West Africa/Indian Oceans, Kari Tukur, the Amphi card was the first dual card launched in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. “As a technology company in the payment industry, we are excited to be part of this innovative solution – a digital and financial technology that makes life different and easy for everyone. Today, we are launching a solution that embodies payment and collection, making it a truly different and far-reaching solution.” She said.
