Upskilling and learning a new skill are goals that a couple of people with different career paths want to achieve. However, while there might be several free courses, they don’t entirely do what you want in terms of depth and more knowledge.
There are chances that you’ve checked out some of these courses and it seems like you may not be able to afford the amount they cost. If this is you or this has been you for a long time, then you need to hear about the Coursera Financial Aid Program.
Coursera is an education company with over 275 high-class universities that bring rich learning experiences to individuals looking to learn one or more skills. The benefits at Coursera include access to hands-on projects, courses, job-ready certificates, and even degree certificates.
What does it mean to request financial aid from Coursera?
Requesting financial aid from Coursers to study a course means that you want Coursera to consider you fit to take a course without payment i.e. free of charge. Sometimes, it can mean that you can only pay a small percentage while the company takes responsibility for the larger part. Say, if you pay 20% of the amount for a course you would love to take, Coursera will pay 80%.
