The This Day newspaper is a Nigeria newspaper founded on January 22, 1995, by Leaders and Company Limited. The company is a newspaper company that was founded by Nduka Obaigbena who is the chairman and chief editor of This Day media group and Arise News. The newspaper has its printing headquarter in Apapa, Lagos state, and other printing plants in Abuja and the Niger Delta of Nigeria.
The This Day newspaper is popularly known for reporting business and political news and breaking big news. It’s the newspaper of many households and offices because of the unbiased nature of its news.
After the newspaper was founded in 1995, it won the award of the newspaper of the year for 3 consecutive years (1995,1996, and 1997). In 1997 This Day became the first newspaper in Nigeria to introduce full-colour printing.
