Every year, a certain number of young people graduate from university. Not only that, a good number also conclude their NYSC which means that they are at the point where they need to get their hands on something.
The International Billionaire Christian Conference (IBCC) revealed a new startup fund mainly for aspiring Christian youths with promising entrepreneurial concepts. This announcement came on Monday via a statement released by the Conference, marking the unveiling of the second edition of its gathering.
According to a part of the statement released, the 2024 edition of the gathering, scheduled for next month (January) at Redemption Camp in Ogun State, will provide an extraordinary and transformative experience by intertwining faith, business, and technological innovation, showcasing a remarkable dedication to empower, inspire, and bring about positive change.
“IBCC is introducing a startup fund aimed at financing promising business ideas, which will see beneficiaries selected through a rigorous pitch deck session, with the IBCC-Startup Management Board. The Board is made up of seasoned investors and managers, who will oversee the mentorship and management of selected ventures.” Ajiboye Olayinka, the convener of the conference explained.
He also hinted that consistent with IBCC’s focus on education and skill enhancement, the 2024 event is granting scholarships to more than 300 attendees in collaboration with the reputable tech education company, Skilharvest.
As stated by Ajiboye, the IBCC’s 2024 edition isn’t merely an event but a driver for constructive transformation. “The convergence of faith, wealth, and technology underscores the conference’s commitment to holistic empowerment. Attendees can expect not only unparalleled learning opportunities and financial support but also a sustained ecosystem for growth, guidance, and collaboration,” He said.
IBCC was launched in 2022 and the goal since then has been to ensure that young people build and manage authentic businesses for prosperity.
